Podcast: How #StreetsForAll is campaigning for e-scooter safety and accessible streets

The latest episode of TPT’s Blind Spot podcast, features a discussion about Sight Loss Council’s #StreetsForAll campaign.

Kevin Satizabal is joined by Mike Bell, Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager at TPT, Louise Connop, Engagement Manager for the West Midlands and Matt Cliff, Engagement Manager for the North West.

The panel discussion focuses on the work Sight Loss Councils have done with e-scooter operators such as Voi, Tier and Lime to improve e-scooter safety. The podcast also addresses the question of why we are not supporting an out-right ban on e-scooters. You can also hear about the 2nd phase of our campaign, which is calling on local authorities to implement equality impact assessments when proposing new street designs.
