Volunteer sighted guides needed. Can you help?

This October, around 80 Thomas Pocklington Trust blind and partially sighted volunteers will meet at their annual conference in Birmingham. Can you join us as a volunteer sighted guide to help?

The conference offers our volunteers the opportunity to discuss issues that matter to them, and to participate in a variety of workshops. We will also announce the winners of this year’s Rodney Powell Awards during an award ceremony on Saturday evening.

The conference will take place between Friday 7 September and Sunday 9 October 2022.

We need your help

Our volunteers give up a great deal of their time to campaign on improving services for BPS people. Can you give up some of your time to support the conference as a sighted guide?

Roles available

As sighted guide volunteers, you will guide BPS delegates around the venue, e.g., to workshops, meals, and the awards.
