Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire

Bedfordshire Sight Loss Council launched in February 2021 and expanded into Hertfordshire in November 2024. We are now known as Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Sight Loss Council.

We meet monthly, either virtually, in central Bedfordshire or Hertfordshire. These meetings allow us to get together to discuss the progress of our current projects, identify future engagement and work opportunities, and have a social catch up with tea, coffee and biscuits too.

We are currently looking for new members to join us. If you are blind or partially sighted and live in the area, we need you.

“As many members of my family and I live with varying degrees of sight loss, I’m personally passionate about ensuring services are accessible for everyone.

“If you are blind or partially sighted and share this commitment, we’d love to hear from you. Consider applying to join Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Sight Loss Council and help us drive positive change.
