Volunteers Week Logo - 1-7 June Volunteers Week and a shooting star

For Volunteers Week, we wanted to say thank you to our incredible blind and partially sighted volunteers, who have worked hard to advocate for visually impaired people in their communities.

Over the last year, they have achieved so much - engaging with employers, healthcare and transport providers and working with retail outlets to improve access to shops and public spaces.

During lockdown, their commitment has been unwavering. They have been supporting blind and partially sighted people dealing with the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Volunteering plays a huge part in everything we do at the Sight Loss Councils and Thomas Pocklington Trust. We all really appreciate the dedication and commitment from our fantastic volunteers and wanted to send a personal thank you from everyone here to all our volunteers.  Read the messages from all our staff here

Thank you to each and every one of you!

CEO from Thomas Pocklington Trust, Charles Colquhoun, sends his heartfelt thanks to all Sight Loss Council volunteers in his video below:
